that date is just when the mayan calander stops working there is no way of knowing with real certainty as to what the means.
This is true. But it is interesting that it stops at all for whatever reason.
it could be as simple as them deciding not to go any further with the calander, it could be the end of time as we understand it or anything in between. unfortunately there is no way to understand what it means.
